Car Hire in Spain
There’s nothing worse than holidaying somewhere
and not being able to get around whilst you are there.
Public transport in Spain is generally
good but if you really want to make the most of your
holiday and visit some of the amazing towns and
cities in your own time you should think about hiring
a car from one of the main car rental companies.
Thankfully car hire in Spain is relatively straightforward.
You will find all the big name hire companies such
as Avis, Enterprise Rent a car, Budget and Hertz
all offering cut price deals and weekend specials.
Most of the offices will deliver to your hotel if
you can’t
get out to the office to pick it up.
Once you have sorted out your car hire in Spain there
are a number of places you can visit. From the North
East city of Barcelona to the ever popular city of
Madrid you will discover the true beauty of Spain.
Alternatively, for the ultimate car drive, why not visit the South of Spain,
where the beauty and lifestyle really is amazing. Hire a car and drive to somewhere
like Valencia, Alicante, Benidorm, Marbella, Jerez or Seville and it is highly
recommended to drive through Grenada for truly breath-taking scenery.
Don’t forget that in Spain yoo drive on the right-hand side and we
would generally recommend keeping your drivers license on you at all times.
Car crime is rare, but we would still advise that
you keep valuables locked in the boot and out of sight as opportunist thieves
do operate, particularly at some of the larger tourist attractions.
It is usually a lot cheaper to book a car rental in advance of the trip, as
opposed to renting one from the closest car rental office to the airport or
your hotel.
There are plenty of car rental companies that offer the ability to check rates
and make reservations online and you can often find better car hire rates online,
so why not discover the beauty of Spain by hiring a rental car and make the
most of your holiday in air conditioned comfort, or with the luxury of a convertible.
